    1. Independent Contractor Status: The Service Provider operates an independent business on a self-employed basis. Nothing in this Agreement creates a contract of employment, worker relationship, partnership or agency. The Service Provider is solely responsible for their own Income Tax, National Insurance contributions and statutory obligations.

    2. Remuneration: The Service Provider may provide beauty treatments from the Salon premises using the Salon’s facilities and operating systems. All client payments shall be processed through the Salon’s payment systems. For treatments performed by the Service Provider at the Salon premises, the Salon shall pay the Service Provider 30% of gross revenue received in respect of those treatments and retain 70%. The Service Provider’s earnings depend solely on treatments completed and revenue received.

    3. Insurance: The Salon maintains public liability and professional indemnity insurance covering salon operations. The Service Provider is covered under the Salon’s master policy whilst providing services from the premises and must comply with all professional and safety standards required under that policy.

    4. No Employment Benefits: The Service Provider acknowledges there is no entitlement to holiday pay, sick pay, maternity pay, paternity pay, pension contributions or any employment-related benefits.

    5. Restrictive Covenants: The Service Provider shall keep confidential and shall not use outside the Salon any client information or Salon business information obtained through the Salon. For a period of 6 months after termination, the Service Provider shall not directly solicit or divert any client of the Salon whom the Service Provider treated in the 12 months prior to termination, within a 5-mile radius of the Salon premises.

    6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing 30 days’ written notice. Immediate termination may occur in cases of serious misconduct or material breach.

    7. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
